Pictures...Kind of recent

Zion just being silly....this was his idea, and he got frustrated because everytime he breathed out from his nose, it fell off, so we taped it on.

This was the kids this last Halloween (I know, I know, I said kind of recent). We took them trick or treating only to some of our new neighbors in our new neighborhood since we had just closed on our house that day.

Ahhhh, how sweet, if only it lasted every hour of every day. :->

Jessica's side of the family, all together for Christmas of 2005. From top to bottom, left to right. Drew, Jamison, Emily, Aaron, Nicole (4 months pregnant with Lilly), Ethan, Jessica, Alan, Poppa (David's Dad), Grammy (David's Mom), David, Karla, Peyton, Alex (Nicole and Aaron's son), and Zion.

Our new home...well at least most of it, the other side is in the other picture.

The "ham" strikes again, well this time I think that it is bologna (now don't tell me you didn't sing it as you read it). Always the comedian of the family.

What a smile, Zion truly never stops smiling. Ever.

This and the picture above were taken on his 2nd b-day, Feb 11, 2006.

Zion's new car, his birthday gift from the whole family (seriously, everyone had to chip in to get this one).

The boys, trying on their new Easter suits that their Granny (Alan's Mom) bought them. They looked even better on Easter Sunday. Little stud muffins, all three of the kido's.

Is it Saturday yet?

Wow, I am sooooo exausted. It's only Thursday. Having three boys all day long is so tiring. Drew is on spring break, so we have been doing more than usual. We started the week off by going to the pool at the YMCA (our pool is not heated and the water is still oh so cold). Then Tuesday was the zoo, Wednesday was errand day and grocery day (yes, with all three). Today we took it a little easier. Zion had not had a nap yet all week, so he really needed to get back on some sort of schedule today. Tomorrow is an Easter party and egg hunt in the morning, then we normally go the library on Fridays and maybe the Children's Museum. Then Saturday is a birthday party, but thankfully, Alan will be able to help. Yipeeee!

Though it's been exausting, it's been great having all three of them around all day. Just a brief glimpse into how our summer will be. :->

I got some sad news on Tuesday that my great-uncle had passed away from a heart attack. Though he is a "great-uncle", we never really thought of him that way, to us he was just Uncle Dave. The really sad thing is that his wife, my aunt Nina, and my aunt Nina's Mom (my great-grandmother) have been in the hospital for almost a month now, very sick. My Uncle Dave was the healthy one of the three (they all lived together in New Bedford, MA). So this took all of us by surprise. Pray for my aunt Nina as well, she doesn't know yet that her husband has passed, the doctor didn't want to tell her quite yet for fear of her not making it herself. She needs an operation to live, in Boston, and she is not strong enough yet to make it through the surgery, so they are hoping that in a few days she can get strong enough and have the surgery, then start to recover more. I don't agree with the decision to not tell her, I understand why they made it, but I don't agree with it. I think that when she finds out, and finds out that the truth was hidden from her, she is not going to be very happy. Hopefully all will work out for the good.

The funeral is on Saturday, and up until 2 hours ago, I was going with my parents (who live in Williamsburg). However, my grandparents and my parents felt that I needed to stay home with my family (since I was just in MA visiting 2 weeks ago, leaving my family behind), and also knowing that with how I have been feeling physically lately that this trip my be very hard on me. So, after talking to Alan and my caregroup leaders wife, we decided that it would be best for me to stay home. And Lord willing, I wont be having to go to MA for anymore funerals. My aunt and great-grandmother need to recover!

So, I am thankful to be able to be with my boys this weekend. Though I could really use a nap! :-> I hope that all of you have a wonderful holiday weekend. Remember, "He is Risen!"

Second Times a Charm?

Well, I got about half way through my last blog entry and Peyton tripped over my laptop cord and unplugged the computer for me. Oh the joys! This is harder than I thought it would be to keep up with this. I will be lucky to get one entry per week in here. This week has been especially busy and hard it seems. We started it off with Drew waking us up Monday morning, he had gotten sick in his bed and on his floor. That was just the first of many messes from him that day, adding to the 9 loads of laundry I do on Mondays. The day ended up with Zion throwing up at the dinner table. I can't wait for this Winter weather to go far far away. It's been one of the hardest Winters ever for us in regards to sicknesses. It seems like for three months one person or another hasn't felt well in some way. Hopefully it's moving on out for now.

Tuesday morning at about 4:30am I got a call from my dear friend Farrah. She was in labor and I was on call to go to their house and watch their other two sons. Their third son, Liam, arrived at 10:16am, weighing in at 7 pounds, 11 ounces, 19.5 inches long. Mother and son are doing well and are at home now.

Wednesday and Thursday were seemingly busy, but uneventful. The past few days have been beautiful, so we have enjoyed time outside with the boys. Next week is Drew's spring break, so we are planning some fun things.

I am going to try to get some new pictures of the boys loaded on my computer this weekend, then I can post them on this site for you all to see.

Pink

As you may have noticed, I made my blog spot pink in color. I am so surrounded by blue, black and green that I needed to retain some femininity somewhere. So pink it is!

About Time

Okay! I have finally caught up with the blog nation. I can't make any promises as too how often I will be able to update this, but I will do my best. I like the concept though. There are so many things that go on in my crazy life that I wish I could tell all my friends, but by the end of the day I am too tired and have forgotten most. So this will be a way for me to look back myself on my adventures with my "four men." I hope that you all enjoy reading each entry as much as I will enjoy "talking" to you all.
